Someone made you a new logo, Heidi!

It's been reported that the Kimkins site has been updated, to reflect stunning losses of literally a few pounds in just a few weeks! Since Heidi is so busy redoing her site, a lovely lady by the name of Squeakie over on Low Carb Friends decided to help out by designing a new banner for Kimkins. I just love it, though my admiration is tinged with a bit of sadness. For, you see, as funny as this banner is ... it's sadly all too true.

No faster deadlier diet. None.

ETA: For Anonymous and others who only see the Kimkins logo, here is the rest, in sequence:

It's pretty funny, but as you say, it may just be true as well. Let's hope it isn't, just mildly dangerous instead.

Okay, I don't get it. On my monitor, here and at LCF, this looks just like the regular Kimkins logo.

When I roll my mouse over it, I get a miniscreen where the two women who represent the "I"s have fallen down. But when I click the miniscreen, I'm back to the regular Kimkins logo. Whassup?

Hey Anonymous,

It might be your browser, I had the same trouble earlier using an older browser. What are you using?

I did. It's the original Kimkins logo. Am I in a parallel universe?

Elle said...

No but your browser is ;) It's an animated pic, and I think your browser may just not be recognizing it.

Hey Anonymous, I captured the images in sequence for you, so you can see them!

Squeakie's clever! Thanks for laying out the sequence - I couldn't see it either.

Elle, I just LOVE your blog. You always make me laugh.

Thanks for doing those screen shots of the amazing new Kimkins logo done by Squeakie. She's got a boatload of talent, no?

Cheers!

Wow! Thanks! I'm sorry I can't see it in animation, but this is great.

My bad. In case somebody else has the same issue:

In IE, go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>/Settings>Multimedia>Play animations in webpages

I had it unchecked. When I checked it, the animated gif worked just fine. :-)

is there a way for me to stop the pop up? I end up going somewhere else and I haven't even had the chance to finish your entry.

Love your stuff, by the way.

Miriam -- there's a popup? I'm not getting any, but I use firefox, and even then it warns me when it's blocked a popup. Where does it lead to?

And thanks for the compliment ;)

It leads to an image only page and then I get back to your blog where I am once again sent to an image only page.

I am on a Mac and using Safari and block pop ups but this happens on top of the page not behind it.

I have no idea how it happens but it isn't isolated to your website. It happens on others as well.

Do you understand what I just wrote? Hard to explain since I am not web savvy.

Love your site.

Just fixed it. Whoohoo.

It's a snapshot and I finally disabled it.
